Who writes and who reviews
Most articles carry a byline for the writer who penned it and a second name for the editor who reviewed it. The owner of Pilot Passion reviews stories for accuracy and clarity before publication. He also produces long-form aviation-incident documentaries, so aviation accuracy isn't a side interest here, it's the whole job.
Sourcing
Where a figure, a regulation, or a claim comes from somewhere specific, we cite it and link to it. You'll find those sources listed under "Full details" at the bottom of each article. Costs and prices are checked against real listings and updated when they drift too far from what the market is actually showing.
Advertising and independence
PilotPassion runs display advertising through Mediavine. Our ad network has no say in what we cover or what we write. If an article recommends or criticizes a specific aircraft, that's the writer's and editor's judgment, not a paid placement.
