PilotPassion is committed to making pilotpassion.com accessible to as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, or keyboard-only navigation.
What we do
- Semantic HTML structure, so screen readers can navigate headings, landmarks, and links properly.
- Full keyboard support on interactive elements, including the homepage story slider, which can be operated with the arrow keys and doesn't trap focus.
- Motion that respects your system's reduced-motion setting: if you've told your device you prefer less animation, the slider stops auto-advancing and transitions calm down.
- Descriptive alt text on images, sufficient color contrast, and a visible focus state on links and buttons.
Feedback
If you hit a page that falls short of this, whether it's color contrast, missing alt text, or a control that doesn't work with a keyboard, we want to know about it specifically so we can fix it.
